Perhaps this post goes out on a limb (please send your feedback if it does) when we say that many, if not most people either have a side hustle or have considered a side hustle.

In 2017, I have made it a goal to find a side hustle to embark on in 2018. I currently work two jobs – one full-time and one part-time – and have found very little time to focus on outside activities (hence the post on Work-Life Balance). Again reflecting on my posts from this year as 2017 draws to a close, I have found a love for blogging, fitness, bullet-journaling, reading, and podcasts. I have made it a point to make the most time for these interests and activities around my schedule. In listening to podcasts and scrolling the blogs, I have come across the concept of the “side hustle”.

What is a side hustle, you say?

Well, to summarize the plethora of websites about side hustles, a side hustle is a business, job, or opportunity to make money in your spare time. I introduce to you the side hustle because, well, who couldn’t use some extra cash from a spare-time activity?

As I am not by any means an expert in this area, I would like to simply share a few resources I have come across when exploring side hustles. More importantly, I welcome your own insights, experiences, and advise on the art of the “side hustle”. Looking forward to discussing more!

While sipping my afternoon coffee (because the afternoon requires caffeine too), I have come across a few resources (podcasts, blogs, and websites) on the art of the “side hustle” that do not involve scams:

So let me ask you, my dear readers: What is your view on side hustles? Do you have a side hustle on your own? If so, how did you get started?
